The Important Details:

Swan Lake offers five exclusive caterers. There is no minimum food order or guest count required. You don't need to provide your own china.

Most meals are served buffet style or at stations, but plated meals can be arranged for. You will deal directly with the caterer, so there are no extra charges from Swan Lake.

-They do not take a commission on food, which helps keep your catering costs lower, unlike many other wedding venues.

Our Favorite Caterers

  • Many venues require you to spend a certain amount on catering because they earn a 10-15% commission from it. We don’t charge a commission, so you can choose food options that fit your budget without a minimum spend or guest count. We also don’t require fine china. In fact, we appreciate the many stylish and affordable disposable options available today. Many couples have been surprised to learn that these options were disposable when they saw and touched them!

  • The truth is we are not very fond of it. Allowing outside catering may seem beneficial, but after experiencing various caterers, we found it wasn't a good model for delivering quality food and service. While some caterers were exceptional, others focused on profit, sometimes responding rudely to our requests. We encountered issues like late arrivals, running out of food, and inexperienced staff. Although many caterers provided great service, the negative experiences affected everyone involved.

    We chose our caterers based on their good food, service, affordable options, and friendliness. It's crucial to like your vendors since you'll work closely with them leading up to your wedding.

    We specifically selected small business owners because they are personally committed to making your wedding day a success.
